Gas Cylinder Rules , 2016 ( Under Explosives Act, 1884 )
Any organization involved in the storage, filling, revalidation, trading, or transportation of gas cylinders (filled or empty) must obtain a license from PESO. This includes industrial gases like oxygen, nitrogen, acetylene, hydrogen, LPG, and others used in manufacturing, welding, healthcare, and distribution networks.

Form B – For filling of gas cylinders at authorized filling stations

Form D – For import/export of gas cylinders
Issued by: PESO / DGFT
Renewal Application Form – For periodic license renewal (every 1–3 years)
Processing Time: 30–45 working days
Renewal: Required every 1 to 3 years based on license type
